It’s been a while since I last blogged, and a few things have happened in the meantime…

My new website, in partnership with a friend, is now up and live. All very exciting! And I’m proud to say that I have already had a few orders through the site. This website has a full and up-to-date list of Freyaluna products, as well as gorgeously girly products for you and your home. You can find all this at www.lillyandroses.com. This is our first self-built website with a fully working online shop facility. We would love for you to come and take a look and look forward to receiving any comments, good or bad, though we would prefer only constructive criticisms please!

Freyaluna had it’s first outing at Greenwich Market on Wednesday 18th August. The day went quite well and I made a few sales. Being a Wednesday, the market wasn’t what you’d call “buzzing”, but there were a few shoppers about. There were a few stalls providing children’s activities for the summer holidays, so that helped to attract people to the market. I’ll admit that I didn’t really expect to sell anything at all on the first day. For me, it was more about getting approval to trade regularly, so the couple of sales I did make came as a very welcome surprise.

There were many conditions that my stall had to meet in order to be invited back to trade regularly. This takes into consideration the products on offer, the display of the products, decoration of the stall, etc, etc. To see a full list of the conditions we had to meet take a look here.

I am pleased to say that Freyaluna past the test! I have been invited back to trade again.

Lastly, I am proud to say that I have recently passed my diploma in Herbalism. Herbalism is a traditional medicinal practice based on the use of plants and plant extracts. I can now have the letters “BSYA (Herb.)” after my name! Yay for me!

I think that’s all the news I have to share at the moment.

Bye for now.
